The Royal Navy Club first had it's roots in 1674, and over 100 years later had Admiral Nelson as a member. Dinners and meetings were held at various pubs. It is interesting to note that after Nelson's death, it was not the Battle of Trafalgar that they celebrated but the battle of Copenhagen, which only began in 1831. It was not till 1833 the first Trafalgar dinner was added. The first Trafalgar dinner was held October 21 1833 at the Crown and Anchor Pub

Its called Historical Memoirs of the Royal Naval Club of 1765 and the Navy Club of 1785. Nelson was also a member of this club. The club had it's roots from the earliest Naval Club that was formed in 1674. They put the book together from the minutes of meetings, this edition I have is a revised edition pubilished in 1925, the orignial copy was printed in 1847. It details every pub they met at, toasts, what wines they drank, and the resolutions they made. The orginial members of the 1785 Club were: Admirals: George Darby, Samuel Barrington. Sir Peter Parker, Viscount Keppel, Lord Shuldham, Sir Hyde Parker, Mark Milbanke, Sir Francis Geary, Sir Francis Drake, Sir Thomas Pye. Commodores: William Hotham, John Elliot, Captains: Hon William Cornwallis, Sir Middleton, Hon JNO Leveson Gower, Sir John Jarvis, Adam Duncan, George Keith Elphinstone, Robert Calder, John Borlase Warren, Alan Gardner, Horatio Nelson, John Thomas Duckwork, James Gambier, Richard John Strachen, and John Markham. Also Prince William Henry afterwards King William IV was also a member. As for the start of the Trafalgar Dinner, it was mentioned in a resolution for that year. (1833) I do not believe this book was made available to the general pubic but rather members of The Navy Club.

William Hotham, Adam Duncan, Robert Calder, John Borlase Warren, John Thomas Duckwork: They are in Peter Le Fevre and Richard Harding ed British Admirals of the Napoleonic Wars; Cntemporaries of Nelson (Chatham 2005)

The object was to dine fortnightly at the St Albans Tavern, St Albans Street from Nov to April. As the 1765 club met from November to April and Parliament sat from February to June, a new club The Royal Navy Club of 1785, was created to cater for sea officers likely to be in town when Parliament was sitting. It met for the first time in February 1785 at the Star and Garter Tavern Pall Mall

(At least in my research was unable to find them) I was hopeing to find at least one or two but had no luck during my last trip to the UK in October. Are you aware of any mentioned I may have missed for another trip?
